Parent & Carer Workshops
Supporting the adults supporting the children.
Helping Anxious Children
Understanding anxiety through a nervous system lens.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop has been created for parents, carers and trusted adults supporting children who experience anxiety, worry or overwhelm. You don't need a diagnosis or a referral to attend, just a willingness to better understand your child and explore practical ways to support them.
Whether your child is navigating everyday worries, struggling with school attendance, finding change difficult or simply experiencing big emotions, you'll leave with a greater understanding of what may be happening beneath the surface and a collection of realistic tools to use at home.
Understanding Behaviour
Looking beyond behaviour and exploring what children may be communicating.
Who is this workshop for?
Behaviour is often the first thing we notice, but it's rarely the whole story.
Whether a child is having frequent meltdowns, refusing to go to school, shutting down, becoming aggressive or finding it difficult to follow instructions, behaviour is often a way of communicating an unmet need rather than an attempt to be difficult.
This workshop explores behaviour through a compassionate, nervous system-informed lens, helping parents and carers understand what may be happening beneath the surface and how connection can become the foundation for lasting change.
Rather than focusing on managing behaviour, we'll explore practical ways to understand it, respond with confidence and strengthen your relationship with your child.
Connection Before Correction
Building connection first to support regulation and reduce conflict.
Who is this workshop for?
When children feel overwhelmed, disconnected or misunderstood, their behaviour often reflects what they're experiencing rather than what they're choosing.
It can be easy to become caught in a cycle of repeated corrections, raised voices and frustration, leaving both children and adults feeling exhausted.
This workshop explores how connection can become one of the most powerful tools we have for supporting emotional regulation, strengthening relationships and reducing conflict. By understanding what children need before they can learn, listen or cooperate, we can begin responding in ways that help them feel safe, understood and capable.
This isn't about removing boundaries or saying yes to everything. It's about recognising that children are far more likely to accept guidance once they feel connected.
Parent Wellbeing Matters Too
Because you can't pour from an empty cup.
Who is this workshop for?
Parenting can be one of the most rewarding roles in the world, but it can also be one of the most demanding.
When you're constantly caring for everyone else, it's easy to place your own wellbeing at the bottom of the list. Over time, stress, overwhelm and emotional exhaustion can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself, making it even harder to respond calmly during the moments that matter most.
This workshop offers a compassionate space to pause, reflect and reconnect with your own wellbeing. Together, we'll explore how looking after yourself isn't selfish - it's one of the most important things you can do for your child.
Through practical strategies, honest conversations and nervous system-informed approaches, you'll discover simple ways to support your own emotional wellbeing whilst continuing to support your family.
